Lemon Jasmine Iced Tea

Let me tell you how sorry I am with this lovely ice cold glass of Lemon Jasmine Iced Tea.
  • 2 bags of Jasmine green tea
  • 2 bags of orange pekoe tea
  • ⅓ cup of honey (more or less depending on your sweet tooth, or any other sweetener)
  • 1 lemon, sliced
  • 2 TBSP (30 mL) of lemon juice
  • 4 cups of boiling water
  • 4 cups of ice water
  1. In a large tea pot, steep tea bags with boiling water and half of lemon slices for 5 minutes (or more if you like a stronger taste) .
  2. Discard tea bags and lemon slices.
  3. Add honey to hot tea and stir until dissolved.
  4. Add ice water, lemon juice and remaining lemon slices to a large carafe.
  5. Add hot tea to the cold water slowly.
  6. Stir and then refrigerate!
  7. Once cool, adjust sweetness and acidity by adding more sweetener or lemon juice.
  8. Enjoy!
